Since the company was established in April 2018, Emerald Health & Safety Services has now taken on near 50 project appointments as either CDM Principal Designer or PD-Advisor to other consultants. We have delivered our services on a variety of new-build construction and refurbishment projects across the UK, often with retained clients and referrals. We also provide general H&S-support to contractors and consultants across various sectors of UK Construction.
As we all come together as a nation in the battle against COVID-19, you can be assured we at Emerald Health & Safety have been putting in a tremendous amount of time and effort to ensure that we are able to remain fully committed to all our clients and live project work.
We have made modifications to our existing CDM-process documentation and onsite working methods, in addition to offering the following services;
- CDM Project Site Inspections (using i-Auditor software) with COVID-19 questions
- Workplace COVID-19 Risk Assessments
- Construction Visitor / Consultant COVID-19 Risk Assessments in accordance with ‘Safe Operating Procedures’ of Construction Leadership Council, PHE and the NHS.
- Home-working Display Screen Equipment Risk Assessments
As a wider business, Emerald have always been in a position to deliver our services to clients whether based in conventional office settings, or in recent weeks by remote-working utilising a video conference meetings and cloud-based file storage.
